Intex - Cashflow Model Engineer

Job Description

Join our team in providing banks, insurance firms and other large financial institutions with innovative software to structure and analyze structured-finance securities. This is a fast-paced and challenging environment, where you'll work with some of the brightest people around.

Responsibilities:

Construct and calibrate complex securitization cashflow models
Provide intensive client support of cashflow model function within Intex's core products
Work with the development team to enhance Intex's modeling language and products to adapt to latest structural innovations
Design, implement and support automation procedures and quality assurance
Provide technical support to sales team via on-site visits, industry conferences, and web based product demonstrations
Occasional monitoring of external correspondence during European or Australian business hours for active cashflow models
Qualifications include:

Exceptional quantitative and problem solving skills
Strong attention to detail
Willingness to improve existing systems to make them more efficient
Motivated self-starter with strong ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to communicate proactively and openly with coworkers and external clients
Quantitative Degree (e.g. Economics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or Engineering)
3-5 year's experience in a quantitative position
